On a walk through the village you can walk along Målarvägen, Brushvägen, Stafflivägen – street names that gossip about Orbaden's history as a creative cultural place. When you look out over the light play of the valley, it is easy to understand that many artists have found inspiration here. Some of them, both established and less well-known, are represented here at the hotel. Among these you will find Mårten Andersson, Jerker Andersson, Lillebi Habans, Magdalena Brunzell and Sofia Elida.

Several of our hotel rooms are adorned with art from the greeting artist Mårten Andersson. Mårten loved Orbaden and had his own table in the restaurant, from which he could see his area of birth. In addition to the naïve artistry for which he is mainly known, Mårten also designed furniture. When we decorated our new lobby, it was an obvious choice to work with Mårten and his beautiful furniture series inspired by Hälsingland's cultural heritage, Hälsingegårdar.
