In 1925, the number of homeowners in the village decided to buy the land on the site where the hotel is located – with the aim of constructing a restaurant. The property was then located in surrounding courtyards.
Guests and staff agree that there is something magical about this place. If it's the view or if there's anything else, we'll leave it unsaid. One thing is for sure: stress and everyday worries are already letting go when you are standing in the hotel lobby and looking straight into the heart of Hälsingland.
We can offer different types of accommodation according to your needs and wishes. From charming crofts, where even four-legged friends are welcome, to suites next to the smallest picture hook decorated by our Orbaden ambassadors.
We have check-in from 15:00 and check-out no later than 11:00 for private individuals. For our conference guests, check-in takes place from 15:00 and check-out no later than 10:00.
On request, we can arrange pick-up at trains, buses and airfields in Vallsta.

Our suites are decorated by Swedish superstars and citizens of the world who all have a fondness for Orbaden and Hälsingland.
Our junior suites have been conceptually decorated for a place in the world, a colorful person or a position.
For those who stay a little longer, need more space or maybe want their own patio, we recommend our nice apartments.
Torpet is a two-storey house with a large kitchen, large living room, two toilets and four separate bedrooms.
In our charming gingerbread house with three small bedrooms, kitchen, living room, veranda and private plot you get to be by yourself but still have access to the hotel's restaurant, spa and other amenities.
